Rank Me Online is an AI based platform that helps brands make better consumer strategy, marketers make viral campaigns and product managers create consumer-centric products. They are a 1 year old bootstrapped startup. Rank Me Online is run by two enigmatic women – Deepti and Jyoti, who leave no stone unturned when it comes to learning and growth. While continuous efforts were being put by their Tech team to develop their platform, they were struggling with acquiring customers. The team was disciplined in following up with the clients and providing custom support but the conversions were not happening as planned. They were advised to reflect on their actions to analyse the problem area. It was concluded that consistency in actions, their mindset with respect to clients and irregular check-ins with the team were falling back in this regard and they needed to devise a systematic sales strategy for the future. First they designed a questionnaire to get meaningful insights from their potential customers. Then they set an end of the month Realistic Goal and backward planned to create weekly milestones. They started conducting Retrospective Planning meetings every Saturday to gauge that week’s performance and course correct for the upcoming one. Based on their experience, they divided their potential customers into various categories and created protocols on how to deal with the same to ensure a sure shot conversion. It was also decided to provide trials to their clients on a use case basis as this would put them in a stronger position. Simultaneously, they worked on their mindset of restoring their authority by putting a hard stop on the client conversations and setting a deadline for the entire sales cycle . Everything put together helped them build confidence in their product and their energy levels as they begun seeing results of their actions.
One of our Bangalore based start-up named Ajar Technologies Pvt Ltd is off offering SoViCa which is a green initiative project that brings out the immense array of services a Visiting card can deliver to users in its Digitised Avatar. It goes beyond just converting the paper card to digital by enabling a host of linked services. They have progressively worked on bringing out simple but strong functionalities around the digitised card and gives the user/s multiple options through a single app over the past few months. Right from finding Utility services providers intown to finding Highway emergency services while on the highways (crowd sourcing option), allowing users to upload offers to allowing them to access offers. For Corporates Big and Small this is a ZERO WASTAGE proposition and helps them to achieve environmental sustenance with over 60% cost savings. Probably the one thing that this offering does is to take Brand awareness and Brand Reach to a level that does not exist today. They are currently working on beta testing with users and also looking out for initial investments to market the product further.
Crumblyy is a mobile-centric platform that summarizes and standardizes long articles into short/crisp hacks/facts, while making content discovery easy and clutter-free through well organized cards. With 1 million downloads within 9 months across countries like India, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Germany etc, Crumblyy was placed in the top charts under the Life Hacks category on Google Play Store. While the current reality of the startup looked magnificent, the leadership team needed support with managing their processes, streamlining and structuring their workflows. Espark-Viridian first suggested the co—founders to create a culture document for the organization with the Vision, core values, norms etc. As Crumblyy had a strong customer base and partners, they were supported with creating a strategy on customer relationships and communication to external partners. Hyreo was started building by two promising entrepreneurs with relevant technology background in 2016 with the goal to improve the way enterprises hire talent. The focus of entrepreneurs was on building a data and insights layer across different stages of recruiting, right from sourcing to assessment and onboarding. The first release of the platform focused on a recruitment chatbot assistant developed in-house leveraging open NLP and other open source technology, to act as a candidate interface. This was further developed and enhanced to ensure that candidates can get to know information specific to the hiring company, job and related information. Currently the product hascompleted a version 3.0 change where the chatbot and the AI engine was tuned to deliver a talent relationship management service. The platform is able to understand user preferences, collect feedback, schedule meetings and interview and analyze text for sentiments. Hyreo has been associated with espark visiridain for about 8 months and has successfully started pilot projects and POCs with over 10 customes and a handful of them have converted/being converted to active clients. They have recently secured grant from Govt of Kerela and also been showcased as one of the promising startups by your story. Team hopes that in the next 3-6 months we will be having a total customer base of over 25 with daily chatbot conversation over 5000 and candidates supported daily via the platform to be at least 25000.Entrepreneurs are in talks with institutional investors to raise funds for the next stage of growth and team hyreo plan to close the round by end of 2018.
1SpecialPlace provides Online Speech Therapy to kids and adults across age groups with the help of their professional team of therapists around the globe. They joined the Acceleration Programme with us in March 2018 with some retained customers, a market presence and a bigger task to grow in operations. Through regular interactions with the Business Enabler and guidance from mentors and the in-house team at Espark-Viridian, they were able to work on an elevator pitch to re-imagine their USP, create their Marketing Plan to push market presence on social media and their website and build a hiring strategy to cater to the rising customer base. By revisiting their Business Model Canvas, they discovered multiple revenue streams for their business. Since they are a remote team, accountability and responsibility was built in using the urgent-important matrix for all their processes. Post doing the competitor analysis, it was concluded that 1SpecialPlace is India’s First Online Speech Therapy Platform. Their app – SpeechDoctor was recognized for a Special Prize at the Alexa Skills Hackathon 2018, organized by Amazon. Their phenomenal work was also featured by The Better India, which is Asia's largest solution-based media platform. 1SpecialPlace has plans to partner with educational institutions and hospitals to spread their message wide and truly make this world a special place for everyone!

When Share A Book joined Espark-Viridian with the idea of building an app to help people buy/lend/share books, they had a fair idea of the app but no idea about revenue generation . Now, their entire processes are well-planned along with a strong revenue generation model and are ready to launch the app in the market soon
Klevermind’s aim was to simplify nursery school admission processes. The team had a technical background and a product idea but lacked clarity on how to shape their idea into a business. Through challenging discussions and brainstorming, they have now finalized on a very strong concept and started the app building procedure, and will launch their app soon
Carpiko is an IOT based automotive sector startup focused on providing car maintenance services at the user’s doorstep and also at their nearby partner Workshops. Major challenges faced by them were minimal app downloads, low sales, fragile business model. Carpiko had served 190 customers before joining Espark-Viridian. Through their time with us, they were able to build a robust business model, got over 1000 downloads for the app and their sales numbers are now stronger than before.
